I booked a trip, but am not able to travel due to travel restrictions. Can I cancel my trip?
We offer the possibility of cancelling your trip free of charge due to covid-19 restrictions, until 14 days before the start of your trip. For further information on the cancellation terms, please contact us by email.
If you are unable to travel due to a negative travel advice from your government and there is a mandatory quarantaine upon arrival or return, you will have the opportunity to book your trip to a later date or cancel free of charge.
If you have to cancel your holiday during your cycling trip due to the Covid-19 situation, any additional costs you make to get back home or the starting point of your trip (eg costs for public transport or a taxi) are at your own expense. We are of course always available by phone for advice.
Costs of any visas, vaccinations or Covid-19 tests cannot be claimed at French Bike Tours. Travel and / or cancellation insurance may want to reimburse certain costs. That differs per insurance.
Who covers the cost when I get sick while traveling?
Travellers who unexpectedly fall ill during their holidays should refer to their own health insurance and/or travel insurance.
