Easy cycling through beautiful countryside. The fields were full of flaxseed, rape, red clover and poppies. Still plenty of wild flowers in late April. Some quite long stretches away from the river. We loved the architecture in the towns and the chateau’s were stunning. Didn’t have time to look inside any. Found some very lovely and unusual places to eat and drink.

Well-organised accommodation and luggage transportation. Route planning, in the main, was good and bike quality overall was good,
